I’ve heard that debate and I don’t buy it. Yes, they’re both singing evil scientists who wear lab coats and plot to take over the world. That’s as far as it goes, and at worst it’s an odd coincidence.If we took lab coats out of the equation, then Dr. Steel & Dr. Horrible both owe a tip of the hat to Frank N Furter, after all. Whatever the reason, I think it’s kind of silly to disparage Whedon for the whole thing.

I does not have any vices! Um…the caffeine, and the cigarettes, and the…everything else…those are character quirks – they make me more interesting and real!

Also…if you did not have the bijillion things you do – how would I ever have seen the glory that is Firefly? Um…or come to understand that wrestling may edge into the ridiculous but does also come in delicious and pretty on occasion?

Molli – Thank you! I gotta say, this is gonna be a blast for me; I’m already having a hell of a lot of fun with some of the Columns I’ve gotten to guest on like The Watcher Diaries, the April Movies Roundtable, and an upcoming Movies Fact or Fiction. I just can’t wait for the hate-mail or hate-comments to start coming in…nothing says “You’ve made it!” like someone illiterately blasting your opinions in a way that you can barely even read.
